Preschool Color Books
Whether you're teaching your toddler their colors or starting your preschooler or kindergartner on color words, these printable color books are a great way to practice and, as you read through them, can add a little bit of vocabulary practice into their day as well.
Each of the included color books has both a color and a black and white version so that you can either print and assemble them yourself for your students to look through or, have your students color and assemble their own.
These color books are also included in our Learning Colors Mega Pack. If you have purchased that bundled pack, you do not need to purchase these separately.
11 different colors are included.
When assembled, each color book will consist of 8 pages (4 printed pages) with an image, the color word, and the name of the object on each page.
To assemble the books, simply cut the printed pages in half, laminate the colored versions for durability if desired, and with the book's title page on top, either staple the pages together or punch a hole in a top corner and secure with a book ring.
- Use these books to inspire your students. After looking through the different books, have them create and color a book or two of their own by drawing pictures of things they can find around the room.
- For older children who just need a little more practice with color words, put various pages (black and white versions) from different colors together and have them color each picture using the correct color.
